Chemical Service

Chemical service is an option for homeowners who prefer cleaning their pool themselves but would like an Ojai Pool Store technician to maintain the correct chemical balance. Once a week, our technician will visit your pool and test and balance the water.

Per month, our chemical service price includes:

• Add chemicals as necessary
• Test and balance the water
• Check on the equipment

Chemicals such as algaecides are extra.

Conditioner is added once a year and is an additional $35 charge.

Chemical service does not include the cleaning of the pool such as brushing, netting or cleaning filters.

Please be aware that chemicals alone do not prevent algae. We recommend that our Chemical Service customers clean their filters regularly and brush the pool to prevent algae growth.

The homeowner is responsible for keeping the pool or spa water at the proper level.
