Ojai Pool Store History – Best of Ojai Since 2007

The Ojai Pool Store is owned by longtime Ojai residents Troy and Jeri Becker. Troy has extensive training and experience in the repair and installation of pool equipment and is licensed as a Commercial/Residential Pool Technician and insured as well. They have been community volunteers for the local AYSO, the Ojai Recreation Department and Help of Ojai. Troy also serves as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Ojai. Troy and Jeri have three children: Riley, Austin and Tatum. Troy and Jeri look forward to serving the Ojai Valley in the coming years in keeping with the Ojai Pool Store’s tradition of excellent service to their clients and the community of Ojai.

The Ojai Pool Store was founded in 1970 by John Sawyer as Sawyer Pool. John and his wife Linda served the Ojai Valley for 30 years. In 2000 the Company was renamed Ojai Pool Store and assumed by its new owner’s; Jeff and Cristy Cooper (John and Linda’s daughter). Jeff and Christy both grew up in the Ojai Valley and kept the company a family business until 2006. Jeff and Christy’s success in the business allowed them to relocate to Texas in July 2006 after the store was purchased by the Becker family.  In 2008 Ojai Pool Store moved to it’s new building in Meiner’s Oaks, CA.
